Sacred Bodywork offers massage continuing education seminars, residential and non-residential retreats and workshops for spas, healing arts centers, massage therapists, personal trainers and bodyworkers who wish to add a new dimension to their work. Our approach follows the Eastern belief that we are all beings of energy with physical form. Purely mechanical work only treats one aspect of the whole; therefore, truly transformational work must address the energetic being, as well. In all of our workshops, regardless of technique, we teach students to work with energy to make their work even more effective. If you are looking for a certification and NCBTMB or Florida State massage continuing education hours for re-licensing, we will provide you the opportunity to learn and practice in one of our massage and bodywork intensive programs.

Introduction to Hawaiian shamanic bodywork, sacred stone therapy, energy awareness, the power of intention, and how to create a sacred space and develop a deeper ability for presence and connection. This workshop goes beyond basic protocols to introduce an array of possibilities when integrating the sacred energy of the Pohaku stones into your massage and healing practice. By combining the warm stones with a deep Lomilomi flowing massage, you will enhance your massage techniques in any modality you are trained in, resulting in an extremely soothing massage session for your clients while saving the wear and tear on your hands and wrist.

Join us in this 10 day/9 night residential retreat on Kauai, the Garden Isle, and you will experience an immersion in the sacred and magical art of Hawaiian Lomilomi.

Sacred Bodywork is blessed to have Kumu Karen Leialoha Carroll as our special guest in our Kauai Residential Retreat. She will teach Ho'oponopono of the emotional body, listening for messages of spirit, opu huli and healing with shells.

Very often, the face does not get much attention during a massage but it is one of the most sacred aspects of the massage. Energetically you can work the entire body through the energy lines of the face and you are addressing the highest chakras. In this class, you will learn great hands-on techniques and three specific massage protocols for the face, neck and shoulders from the Thai massage tradition to add to your skill set.

Thai Reflexology Massage Class

This fun Thai hands-on class combines several elements to provide you with an amazing "full body" treatment by focusing on Sen energetic bodywork, acupressure of the marma points, and reflex areas of the face, neck, hands and the feet. Students will learn to improve energy flow throughout the body, and also will learn the Thai energy anatomy and hands-on techniques for working on the key Marma points of the body.
